Fontina S is a super moving 5 year old black mare 15.2 hh recently broken in and being ridden in the dressage arena, around paddocks and through bush tracks to build confidence. She is well balanced with three lovely active paces.
Tina carries the bloodlines
of such famous European horses as Weltmeyer, Floristan, Donnerhall and Jazz.
She is pretty enough for the show ring.
Her sire is Fiji R who is well known for his great temperament which she has inherited. Reccntly (Dec 2014) a number of Fiji R four year olds sold for $ 30,000 and over at auction. Her mother Tiramisu (Fame) is by Regardez Moi /Jive Magic and is doing very well in dressage with a junior rider. Although Fontina S is bred for dressage there are quite a few Regardez Moi progeny excelling over jumps, which makes her very versatile.
Fontina has a lovely sweet nature and is always trying to please and do her best.
She is quiet with a lovely balanced canter and an expressive rhythmic trot.
She combines the best of modern Dutch and German dressage breeding with Jazz, Weltmeyer and Donnerhall bloodlines.
Her family on both sides have impressive current dressage credentials.

According to Heath Ryan :
"Fiji R is developing a reputation for siring very pretty and elegant foals who can really move and have wonderful temperaments. Fiji R himself does have the sweetest temperament.
Fiji R is carrying some wonderful bloodlines being by Florencio who was the five year old and then again the six year old World Champion Young Dressage horse. Fiji R carries the bloodlines of Florestan 1, Weltmeyer, Hohenstein and Hill Hawk.
Recently the young Fiji three year old Fireworks R, demanded $35,200 at the June Auction of the Stars in Sydney 2014.
"
Weltmeyer continues to almost single-handedly reshape the Hanoverian breed." He was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden, and the 1987 winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year Weltmeyer also won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. In 1988 he was honored in Verden as best stallion of his age-group and awarded with the "Freiherr von Stenglin-Prize". One year later he became DLG Champion 1989 in Frankfurt. And last but not least he became "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 1998.
