Brigitta S

Brigitta S is by the super dressage sire Breitling W out of a Donnerhall / Lauries Crusador mare. She has fully imported European bloodlines. Her Dam was imported by us from Germany through Christian Heinrich who was instumental in the sucess of Breitling together wih Wolfram Wittig. Christian Heinrich was co owner of Brigitta's half ( actualy more than half!) sister Blind Date who is doing spectacularly under Victoria Max- Thurer.
The 23-year old Grand Prix dressage stallion Breitling W has just been proclaimed Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2014. The breeder and owner of Breitling W were honoured at the 2014 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany, on Saturday 25 October 2014. He joins De Niro, Lauries Crusador and Weltmeyer in being awarded this prestigeous title.
Brigitta has her fathers super movement and temperament. We were going to keep her as a breeding mare but it would be a waste not to have her in a competative dressage home ! She is a registered and branded Hanoverian

Dam line

Brigitta's mother La Donna is from the legendary stallion Donnerhall who is almost peerless in the world of dressage sires having enjoyed success like no other. He had a stellar career as a dressage horse, winning some of the most prestigious competitions, including over 65 FEI Grand Prix Dressage classes, World and he was also named Oldenburg Stallion of the Year in 1998. Donnerhall was a hugely influential sire with some of his most notable offspring including Don Primero Champion 5-year at the 1990 Bundeschampionate and now a Grand Prix horse, Don Schufro who was part of the bronze medal winning Danish team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, De Niro the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and Davignon who gained record scores at the Bundeschampionate before going on to become a Grand Prix horse. In addition to this Donnerhall has fathered a huge 77 licensed stallions.

Lauries Crusador is now proving himself as a sire of brood mares. The champion of the 2000 Hanoverian licensing, Don Crusador (by Donnerhall) is out of a daughter of Lauries Crusador.
He is the sire of 61 state’s premium mares and the results from the mare performance tests confirm his high dressage rating, with an average of 134.

Bolero has become known as a symbol for the modern riding horse and is a classic example of the refining influence the Thoroughbred has had on the modern Hanoverian. Although three-quarter Thoroughbred himself, he retained the quality and movement of his Hanoverian ancestors.

Bolero stood at stud for only nine years yet has to his credit 51 approved stallions, 73 States Premium mares and numerous top dressage horses. He continues to influence the international dressage rings through his offspring who include champion dressage horses such as Baryshnikov, Beauvalais, Bini Bo, Bismark, Boccaccio and Brentano I as well as the champion stallions Brentano II, 2003 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year.

 

Sire : Breitling

Breitling is currently number one in the German breeding index and is known for producing quality yet trainable offspring who include several licensed sons such as Berkeley, Benvenuto, Bertoli, as well as hugely successful competition horses such as Balderassini, Biagotti and Blind Date.

This truly outstanding Hanoverian stallion is the new FN breeding index leader in 2009 with a total of 172 points. Breitling is a competition stallion who has nothing left  to prove, having won international Grand Prix classes and Nations Cups, taken first prize in 22 advanced level dressage classes, secured a bronze medal at the German Championship and accumulated over EUR 130,000 in prize money in the dressage arena.

His achievements with longstanding rider, Wolfram Wittig, extend right up to the World Cup Tour.  His ability to produce excellent offspring can only be described as phenomenal. Although he has only been used to a limited extent for breeding purposes, meaning that he has relatively few offspring, there are 13 advanced level dressage horses among his first progeny which have collectively won over EUR 72,000 in prize money.

Numerous Breitling progeny have qualified for Bundeschampionat and World Championship finals.

Bismarck has a pedigree that goes back to top dressage horse producer, Bolero, whose bloodline recently experienced a renaissance when Belissimo M won the Bundeschampionat.

Breitling's pedigree includes successful and proven Hanoverian performance genes.

Family

Her half sister Blind Date was owned by Christian Heinrich and Wolfram Wittig. Brigitte Wittig trained and competed the chestnut mare from novice to Grand Prix level. In 2007 the mare won the first round at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden. She continues to excell under Victoria Max-Theurer.
